COMPOSITE VENEERS
Revolutionize Your Smile with Advanced Dental Implant Solutions
A personalised, considered approach
Composite bonding is a highly individual and artistic treatment.
The goal is always a smile that feels authentic, natural, and in balance, never over-treated.
What are direct composite veneers?
Direct composite veneers, also known as composite bonding, are a minimally invasive aesthetic dental treatment where high-quality composite resin is applied, layered, and shaped directly onto the natural teeth.
The aim is to improve the shape, balance, and harmony of the smile while preserving as much natural tooth structure as possible. In many cases, no drilling or tooth preparation is required.
Who is this treatment suitable for?
Direct composite veneers are ideal for patients who wish to enhance their smile in a conservative, natural, and reversible way.
This treatment is suitable for patients who:
- Want a more balanced and harmonious smile
- Prefer minimally invasive aesthetic solutions
- Wish to avoid aggressive tooth preparation
- Are looking for a cost-effective cosmetic option
- Want carefully planned, natural-looking results
What can composite bonding correct?
Composite bonding can be used to improve:
- Chipped or worn teeth
- Small gaps between teeth
- Uneven or irregular tooth shapes
- Minor asymmetries or alignment issues
- Discolouration that does not respond to whitening
- Old or worn composite restorations
Each case is assessed individually to ensure the treatment is appropriate and long-lasting.
Our philosophy at Wight Clinic
Here at Wight Clinic, Dr Maria Bouka always aims to imitate nature.
We are not fans of unnatural or bulky-looking teeth.
The focus is on subtle enhancement — results that look natural, balanced, and in harmony with the face, rather than obviously “done”.
Composite bonding is used to refine the smile, not to change it completely.
The treatment process 1
Consultation appointment
Your journey begins with a detailed consultation. During this appointment:
- Clinical photographs are taken
- Your smile, teeth, and facial features are carefully assessed
- We discuss your aesthetic goals and expectations
- We explain what is realistically achievable and what is not
- A personalised treatment plan is agreed together
This step is essential to ensure the final result aligns with both your wishes and sound clinical principles.

Composite bonding appointment
Once the treatment plan is agreed, a longer appointment is scheduled.
This appointment usually lasts 2–3 hours.
During this visit:
- The teeth are carefully isolated
- Composite resin is layered and sculpted with precision
- Shape, proportions, and symmetry are refined in detail
In some cases, an additional appointment may be required to allow further refinement.

Refinement & polishing appointment
The patient then attends a shorter follow-up appointment, during which reshaping, micro-adjustments, and polishing of the composite restorations are carried out, and final photographs are taken.
This appointment allows patients to see their new smile in everyday life and share feedback, ensuring the final result feels comfortable, natural, and truly personalised.
